Strap vs. Trunk...
Sadly, the strap won.
So the information i have is that a strap was used during the installation process. Straps are for balls! I estimate this to be about a 3000 dollar mistake. Heartbreaking to see this dogwood permanently damaged.
This happens when twine is left on the trunk too long.
Twine beginning to bite into the trunk. Discovered and removed during planting.
